OK Girls-
I have not forgotten about us or given up hope that one day we will complete our documentary about the women before us.
Figured everyone needed a break and it was best to just enjoy the summer. Well I'm back!
I had an excellent time in Italy and Spain. Didn't want to come home. Just wanted to keep adding one more city. I know that there are many changes with us. Some I know firsthand but others I'll need to rely on the Seniors (that's you - Joanne, Roseann, Lori and I guess me too!)
New News: Kristie is working at Boston University, Leah got married, Lauren is starting grad school at the University of Maryland, and Ashley is leaving for college in Boston. Don't cry Lori. I think half our family now live in the Boston area.
Senior Joanne - fill us in on your side of the family. And let's not forget Emily. Although somewhat younger and still in preschool, she is officially one of the girls.
Check this out NOW

Thanks for sharing that video Patty!!! It was so nice to see!! Glad to hear that your trip went well. Hope to see you on your next visit to NY.
Watching the video of Nono was surreal. I'm very happy Patty took the time to record her story. And I love it that Pepi was sitting on her lap. Although I had some difficutly understanding her at some points. Any thoughts of transcribing the interview?
The movie was made ten years ago. Can't you tell by my baby face :) If anyone is interested in transcribing the interview, please take it on! I'm ready to move forward and start our new video, which given new technologies, promises to be far more exciting. Have I convinced everyone?
Patricia
Jennifer we need an update for the Speruzzi's. What's new with you and your sisters?
Patricia
Hey Patty Good Job It look like the girls are getting into it It would me nice if we could all get together and let the little ones meet there cousins Let keep the family together. I remember when Rosie and Yola was our ages We laugh at them saying that they are old Look at us now we are in the 50Lori you are getting there
Yes, we need to all get together. That was part of the plan. I'll try and organize something the next time I come to NY and then we can also do the interviews :) and start filming!
I know...poor Lori. It's tough getting old. We'll get her on this site one way or another.
And Roseann, we have not forgotten about you.
Hey and where is my other niece?

Ok Patty here is an update on the Speruzzi girls:
Ann Marie works in productions for SI Communications which includes 3 newspapers in lower Westchester. She is also doing Freelance graphic design on the side.
There is really nothing new on my side. My oldest daughter Samantha is going to be going to pre K 5 days a week in Sept. and she is very into dance! She takes dance lessons throughout the year and she had her first big dance recital in June. My baby Serena will be 2 next month(time flies)!!
You can check out my youtube videos of my kids. Here is a link:

That was her dress rehersal for her recital. If you click on more from jmiller1674 you can view all my videos of the kids that I have on youtube. My girls are quite the entertainers!!
How cute is that. I just looked at the video. My god, she looks just like you when you were small. Wow.

Hello everybody!!
I know that my family is surprised that I haven't been posting and talking on the blog much being that I am the corny sappy sentimental family mush! So not to let anyone down I will make this post a good one! Jennifer obviously doesn't consider me one of the Speruzzi girls because my name wasn't even a thought! So I will share my life with you guys! Life is good mostly yet boring! I have 2 very ...curious I guess I would say...children. (although some may say that I got what I deserved! Being I was not the most well behaved of children. At least I was cute!) A boy Michael who is 7 and going into 3rd grade and a girl Jenna who is starting pre-k this year!! No more kids from me sorry Patty! They really are the most funny, loving, and smart kids. They definately take after their mother, Thank God! lol! My husband is Mike and we have been Married for 8 years now together for 10. He is a union guy working in the Hunts Point produce market in The Bronx as a Foreman so if anyone needs fresh produce gve me a call. I was thinking of Kristie and Joey this week because I went camping with my Dad and the kids to Fox Hill and we used to go together every summer. It was so funny looking at the pictures because it has not changed at all!!! I think they even have the same swingset and see saw. My mom is looking for pics of us there to compare to the ones I am posting. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and I am thankful to be able to do that but I am so over it now and can't wait to go back to work or hopefully go back to school! I guess thats about it for now so I will keep u guys posted in the future! The video was great btw! Hope to see everybody soon!
Sara!
I am so glad that you have decided to join us online. It sounds like life is busy and hectic with two small kids. I don't know how all of you manage with little ones running around the house. I can't even take care of myself. You sound happy! Keep in touch.
Patricia
If I lived back east I would take you up on the produce offer!!
Sara, I can't believe you went back to Fox Hill (and that it still exists)!!
I have such great memories of us all going camping- remember the time we were playing in the car and almost ran over my brother who was sleeping in the tent???
I'd love to see pictures of how it looks now. I'm trying to convince my husband we should take the boys there but so far it's a losing battle...
I was visiting my parents in North Carolina this past week and showed them the blog..they loved all the old pictures and promised to look thru their stuff to see if they had anything worth sharing (particularly pictures of us kids when we were young...)
